31 Angel readers for all the visually challenged and 30 Transcend MP3
recorders for all the Orthopedically challenged.
8 wheel chairs are also provided to the Orthopaedic students.
Ramps are arranged at important places and a few more are on the way.
Lifts are fitted with audio announcements and we are even working for a
talking ATM at the bank.

Since you people are talking about writing exams on computer, I also
thought to share my experience.
but before I go ahead, let me make it clear at the outset, that we
have very imformal exams in JNU.
No centralised exams at all.
All centres are autonomous in conducting mid-semester/end-semester
tests. No roll numbers hick-ups.
And when I write my exam in Centre for the Study of Law and
Governance, My teacher himself-herself reads out question papers for
me.
I wrote mail to my faculties and requested them to allow me to appear
with Laptop, so that I can experience sence of self-satisfaction and
independence.
Further, More E-text reading with spell attention and writing practice
can increase typing speed.
believe me!chatting is also very productive to increase one's speed
and aquire accuracy. provided what and how you chatt...
finally, since Many Universities like DU and JNU are about to provide
Laptops to all enrolled blind students, so better we start working on
this aspect, so scribe pain will be cured for ever.

Dear Amar,
Agreed. I remember your ordeal with university. Now, that you've
passed the initial phase and it would be suitable time to take it to
the next level.

You can site Delhi university example when you demand for question
paper in word format!!!
Let me know if you need any assistance from my end.

Thanks,

Akhil Bhaiya: agreed on the responsibility point, but it all depends
on how and who in their official authority show their positive
thinking of cooperating with us. I have faced various strange
situations due to lack of willingness to understand at the centres as
well as within university despite having this permission letter of
using computer in hand.
