dear friend, i don't know how to do this when JAWS will say page numbers while reading. but I know how to check page Number while reading. if you want to know on which page are you? press ault plus delete to know the page number. in this case, if you give the command of reading (insert plus down airow) JAWS will start reading where you left.
as far as your second question is concerned, I don't think that there is any setting which allows you to reading from where you left last time after closing the document. regards, sanchit Katiyar.
