Suman,
Configuring accessibility in SAP is a tedious process and it is not in
control of the user.
It requires updating the UI frontend and some installations at server side.
And getting this done in a big organization is not easy.
If you are in SAP then why don't you take this initiative with SAP customer
companies in India? Sensitize them and get their servers configured so that
the blind employee can get accessibility enabled easily.

I am saying this after having pursued SAP accessibility for several years. I
wish accessibility was integrated into the tools and was not an afterthought
or an attempt to fulfil legal requirements.

I hope you will do something to change my perception on this issue.

Prashant

SAP Labs

Hi Ekinath,

I am not taking it wrong sense. I understand your frustrations. I honestly
say that SAP is doing excellent job in terms of taking care of
accessibility. Almost all the SAP tools are accessible. However, there are
prior settings to be done to make it accessible. Can you write to me off
list regarding your issues, so that I will ensure you are comfortable
accessing the SAP tools.

Friends, it is not only ekinath I am pointing to, anybody who is really
facing issues regarding SAP tools accessibility, write to me off list, I
will ensure our VI friends are working comfortably on SAP tools.

Thanks.
