Subject: [AI] Coach for People with disabilities in Railways
I have faced totally opposite and horrible situation in the handicap
compartment. Disables coach condition is really very severe. In last
month I and my friend were traveling to Mumbai from Bangalore through
Udyan express. Initially some non-handicaps have entered in the
handicap coach and than after they have started to bully to disables.
One of them has broken the specs of one handicap person. When I asked
him to get down from the coach than he has started to bully me also.
After the incident I pulled the chain thrice, but there was no action
from railway officials. When I pulled chain fourth time, than some
people came from railway authorities and instead of taking action they
have started to ask us that who has pulled the chain. Than I replied
him that can you please take out these non-handicaps first than we
will talk with eas. After this much struggle we got success to throw
out some insensible people. So, this ignorance we are facing from
railway department towards persons with disability.
Regards,
Nazrul.
