Work with the Quick Access toolbar in Microsoft Office using Dolphin SuperNova This is about basics of the Quick Access Toolbar and useful SuperNova hot keys you can use to make working with the Quick Access Toolbar even more productive in Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Office 2010 applications. What is the Quick Access Toolbar? You can find the Quick Access Toolbar at the top of the screen in Office programs that use the Ribbon. The Quick Access Toolbar shows Ribbon commands you regularly use and require easy access too. You can add and remove items to and from the toolbar. To add an item to the Quick Access Toolbar Microsoft Office offers a number of different ways to add items to the Quick Access Toolbar. One popular way is to use the context menu. To do this: 1. In the Ribbon, locate the item you want to add to the Quick Access Toolbar. 2. Press SHIFT + F10. A context menu opens. 3. DOWN ARROW to "Add to Quick Access Toolbar" and press ENTER. Microsoft Office closes the menu and adds the item to the Quick Access Toolbar. To see the list of items in the Quick Access Toolbar One quick way to access the items on the Quick Access Toolbar is to use the SuperNova Item Finder. This will display a list of the items on the toolbar, where you can then choose to perform a left mouse click or right mouse click on any selected item. To do this: 1. Press CAPS LOCK + Q. You can also move the keyboard focus to the Quick Access Toolbar. To do this: 1. Press ALT. Focus moves to the Ribbon. 2. Keep pressing SHIFT + TAB until Focus moves to the Quick Access Toolbar.
