hi siddawalingeshwar dear, select the cells , then ctrl 1 it will open a dialog box. 1 on the upper row, i mean other than that of num pad. and press ctrl tab. then alt m will directly move you to merge cells, check this checkbox and tab tab and ok button. in this case remember only selected cells will be merged. thanks. umair ijaz
