We are glad to inform you that Jiyar Educational Trust under the
Auspicious of HH SRI TRIDANDI CHINNA RAMANUJA JIYAR SWAMIJI has been
running a JUNIOR college (and Degree college) for the visually challenged
students at SRIRAM NAGARAM, MUCHINTAL village, SHAMSHABAD MANDAL,
RR.DISTRICT in Andhra Pradesh since 2007. All the batches have come out
successfully. The special feature of this college is that blind students
appear for their Intermediate and Degree Public Examinations using Laptops
without the help of Scribes.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
1. NETRA VIDYALAYAM JUNIOR COLLEGE (RUN BY JET) is providing education,
hostel, clothing and basic medical facilities at FREE OF COST.
2. It is offering courses in CEC and HEC groups with Sanskrit as second
language in Intermediate.
3. It is offering courses in B.Com (Computers) and B.A HEP groups with
Sanskrit as second language in Degree.
4. Medium of Instruction is English. Students also use Brail.
5. Special training is given in spoken English and in using Computers.
6. Each student is provided with a Laptop.
7. Chanting of PrathhaSmaraniyam(will be taught) is compulsory for the
peace and purification soul.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Students must pass SSC, Intermediate or its equivalent examination
conducted by any State Board.
2. They should come with parents or with their guardian.
3. They should stay in hostel and won't be permitted to go out except for
special purposes.
4. They should Obey by the rules of the management (Jiyar Educational
Trust).
5. Parents should respond and come as and when they are asked to.
6. If any disciplinary action is taken against a student, parents should
understand that it is for their welfare and good behavior.
7. Mobiles or any electronic equipment's are not allowed to be used.
8. Parents can contact the college to know about their wards.
9. Students must be well behaved in college with each and everyone.
10. Treatment for only minor ailments will be provided.
11. For any serious sickness, parents are responsible for the treatment.
12. . A Deposit of Rs.5000 is to be paid towards unforeseen expenditure
for the student himself (REFUNDABLE AFTER COMPLETION OF SECOND YEAR).
13. A Deposit of Rs.10000 is to be paid towards unforeseen expenditure for
the student himself (REFUNDABLE AFTER COMPLETION OF Final YEAR).
14. If the student leaves in between for any reason, then the deposit WILL
NOT BE REFUNDED.
