dear access indians, when i approached 1 agent to take a policy the agent tolled me being a v.i person i have to pay an additional premium for getting the policy. after it i spoke to their developmental officer and he also tolled that l i c cannot issue a insurance policy to a blind person like normal persons. this is a clear case of discrimination a public sector organization like l i c should not discriminate against the v.i people. how can v over come this double standards towards v.i community? r there any standing circulars exempting blind people from paying additional premium to get l i c policy. some 1 in the list menschened such an order a few dais ago . if there is 1 circular please mail it to my i.d. and also would like to listen from the learned members of this platform how can overcome this hurdle? expecting your kind help.
