Hi Rahul,

You tell the organizers nothing. I have done this before.
You walk in with your cane and laptop and ask the people at the reception to
escort you in. They usually get the message and do track you after that
assuming you come into visual range.

The rest of it is up to you.

Logistics at conferences are challenging but you can attend them solo. Do
maintain situational awareness and track where you are in relation to the
exit at all times.

If you need to leave in a hurry, start walking towards the exit and someone
will help.

do not count on dedicated assistance though.

Subject: [AI] Attending a conference

Hi all,

I hope this message finds you well.
I'm actually planning to attend a law-related conference which will
be conducted by the Alexis Foundation in Dharwad, Karnataka in
August.
I don't know how I'll be able to manage independently in a completely
new environment. I generally have someone with me whenever I go to a
new place, but this will be different.
So, what are the things that I should discuss with the organisers
before attending the conference? What are the main challenges that I
may have to face during the conference?
Any tips/suggestions would be immensely appreciated.

Best,
Rahul
