Dear Avichal,
The Google Goggles app can identify indian currency if photographed
properly.

The rupee checker identifies the indian currency on the basis of the
differences in their length and width.
However soiled the note may be if it is stretched to the full or folded in
half its actual lenth will not change and rupee checker will be able to
identify it.

Subject: Re: [AI] Doubt regarding identifying currency notes/coins:

I think that an android app was also designed for this purpose.
If anybody has any info related to it, plz share.
Prashant sir, please clear my doubt regarding the rupee checker wallet.
Will it help in identification even if the note is old and has many folds?
Thanks,
Avichal
