The topper Jyothi Priya had done her MA Literature five-year
integrated course from the same university. “I was not expecting to
top the entrance,” she said even as she accepted that Eflu was a
friendly university to the challenged students.

Jyothi said she had sleepless nights in preparing for the entrance.
She feels blessed to have constant support from her parents and
professors, who refined her reading and writing skills to best and
regard them as strong source for her success. She says that her
friends have immensely supported in shaping her personality and
bringing out of comfort zone. “Eflu cell for disabled is very
encouraging as it introduced us new aids that have made life easy,”
said Jyothi Priya. “The cell had provided us portable tablets and
recorders to carry on our academics smoothly”. Jyothi loves reading
books of Jonathan Hull, Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie. And
she is planning to work on “The elements of uncanny in Julio Cortazar
and Ian Mcewan” as a part of her research work.

She wants to contribute something new to the literature and yearns to
be a fictional writer and orator.
