Dear all Access Indians, It's hard to find what you are looking for at super-market and even harder when you are blind, isn't it? Just imagine, how could a blind person recognize a friend of his without hearing his voice or feeling the distinctive features of his friend's hands with a sense of touch unless otherwise that particular person is well-acquainted earlier to him? Visus Technology Inc., a company in Boston has created a smartphone software which is capable enough to recognize human faces, a typical divine software which the blind community was anxiously looking forward to, the world over. Blind people need not guess at the identity of his or her friend and superiors anymore, if you have a smartphone with Visus Technology software installed in it, the software will let the cat out of the bag! This software is set to go on sale early next year! Its $999 price-tag will include: a Galaxy S4 phone, a wireless Bluetooth earpiece and a wireless 4G hotspot for sharing the phone's 4G data service with other devices. Visus Technology hopes to offer a version for Apple iPhones by early 2015 as well. Visus software has additional features like reading bulletin boards, identifying men's rest-room or women's rest-room, recognizing vegetables and fruits in market, alerting when obstacles are spotted on the way and so on. Is it too hard to believe what you're reading? Words fail me when I write about this technological wonder! It's not fair to build check-dam in the way of your curiosity to know more about it by visiting Visus website: http://www.visustech.com -- E-mail: [email protected].
