YouTube©<http://www.youtube.com/> has a vast array of videos on all
conceivable subjects, ranging from full-length movies to clips of
people singing in their bathrooms, and everything in between. There
are many videos on YouTube made about blindness or blindness-related
topics, such as assistive technology.
The following is a starter list of videos for or by people who are
blind and visually impaired, originally compiled by John Paris-Salb,
an APH Ex Officio Trustee from California. This is meant to be a
resource for teachers, parents, students, and others who are blind or
visually impaired or who work in the field of blindness. This is not
meant to be a comprehensive list yet, but videos will be added to this
list in the future.
All videos are free to view, although some videos may begin with a
short advertisement, which you can sometimes bypass. The time provided
in the list is the actual video time, not including the advertisement.
Note: If the table format proves too difficult or cumbersome to use,
it may be revamped in the future.
