Dear All, Nice to see the interest that the BarrierBreak post has generated.
To answer some of your questions, 1. We at BarrierBreak would like to see Accessible not manageable applications and websites. We see this as a problem when just because you can use something doesn't mean it is accessible as it should be. For example, at the top of the TOI app, there are numerous Buttons for Top News, City, India, World, which are announced as Buttons. This is an issue to be address. 2. Though you can read text, it is important to provide structure to content to make it more usable to all. Headings are important and needs to be addressed. The good part is that in Mobile Apps, the Apps are generally not very large and there is little legacy in the code, so it makes sense to talk to the organizations and help them to achieve accessibility. We need to help organizations understand and adher or even better the accessibility standard and guidelines. It is our duty to create awareness and ensure that organizations take care of the accessibility needs. Its nice to see that again Bhavesh's work and BarrierBreak idea of writing an app review a month has made you'll think and want to do something. Do write in to us and let us know which Apps you use and would like to see Accessible.
