Dear all Network of Asia Pacific Schools and Institutes on Public Administration and Governance in collaboration with JNU is going to organize an international convention on the eve of successful completion of 10 years of its working. The convention will take place from 7th December to 9th December 2013 in JNU. Many delegates and dignitaries from USA, UK, Pakistan, china,Sri Lanka, Singapore, and other asean countries along with World Bank, IMF will participate in the convention. The topic is "Locked in Growth Patterns: Land, Water and Disasters in the post-2015 development agenda."
The focus of UNO this year is on the vulnerability of persons with disabilities, as disasters strike in the form of floods, earthquakes, tsunamis or hurricanes, and the impact of disasters on disableds is rarely captured. Therefore, we are having panel discussions and paper presentations on the theme “disability and disasters”. Those Interested may send their abstracts on my email ID: [email protected] Their papers will be published in the journals of Network of Asia Pacific Schools and Institutes on Public Administration and Governance and other international journals.
