Dear friend,
Senario 1. If you want to incert the row [cells from left to right] for
entire sheet then, select the cell above which you want to incert the row.
for eg. there is data in row A1 and row A2 now you want to creat the row
between A1 and A2. go to A2 and press application key and select Incert.
Down arrow to Incert entire row. and hit enter. now you will notice that the
data in the work sheet in row 2 is shifted to row 3 and you got the extra
row as row 2.
Senario 2. Suppose you have 2 or more data region. for eg. data region 1, a1
to e10. data region 2. g1 to k10. now you want to creat the extra row for
first data region without temperring data region 2. go to the cell above
which you want to incert row. select all the the cell horizontall. for eg.
your data region is a1 to e10 and you want to incert the row between A3 and
A4. go to A4 and select a4:E4 and press application key. press down arrow
and go to incert. select shift cells down and hit enter. you will notice the
extra row has created for a4 to e4you will notice that all the data from
that range has shifted to a5:e5, the second data region is unaffected.
