Dear Saurabh,

Firstly, there is no bar on visually impaired people from taking the
policy from LIC, without paying any extra premium. If you search the
old archives, then I had raised same question with some legal issues,
and there was a letter shared which was officially communicated by LIC
to NAB India, Mumbai.

Secondly, if the officials are not replying to agent, you take the
initiative and write to the Head Office of L.I.C. Agents generally put
such conditions because of lack of awareness.

Approach the Head Office, and do let the list know if you face any
problem thereafter. The list members are always there to help if there
is a genuine problem and the concerned person is willing to take it
ahead for sorting out.
