Dear All, We have a web-based application at our workplace, designed by Uberall Law, a Pune based company. The application is used for time-sheet filling amongst other purposes.
The application however is not screen reader friendly. There are onmouseover elements, which cannot be activated using Jaws curser, mouse clicks using keyboard, OCR feature of Jaws, hotspot clicker scripts, etc. The source code is obfuscated, so can't comment as to what is wrong. Finally the developer from their team is coming to meet me on 16th to understand the requirements, and desired changes to be made. Therefore, I am in need of an accessibility consultant / a firm working in this area. Initially, I expect the consultant to document the desired changes to be made, and / or assist the developers wherever needed. As it is unlikely that the developers will part with their source code. If required, then one or 2 visits will also need to be made to my office. And if that is not possible, then remote session may be required if developers need some assistance. Any additional assumptions may be made as the work in this field involves.
