hello, 1. make sure that internet connection is good enough. 2. xp has some known issues. I tried using one of my friend's laptop who had xp installed. But she had to take me on a Skype call because I couldn't hear any sound. 3. please check that send sound or some thing similar named option is checked in your friend's computer. regards
