Dear All, Ability Foundation presents AbilityFEST 2013, India International Disability Film Festival, from September 23 to 26, 2013 at Sathyam Cinemas. This is a great opportunity to watch some amazing films from over - countries by, with and about people with disabilities. This is the 5thedition of the festival, and we would like to thank you for your support over the years.
* * *We are really happy to tell you that this year, our screening at 4 p.m on Wednesday September 25, 2013 showcases our very own Tamil Blockbuster Haridas ,screened for the first time in India with audio description for the blind. As you know, audio description is a pre recorded narrative describing what is happening on the screen in between dialogues so as to enhance the cinema viewing experience for the visually impaired. * We would like the participation of as many visually impaired as possible As we will be relaying the audio described track through FM, we request you to bring your mobile phones along with headsets. Entry is free, but everyone needs to carry delegate passes and seating is on a first come first serve basis.
