Some programmes install toolbar and change homepage during installation.
When installing a programme, don't activate the next button without checking
the other options. In case of winamp and bit-torrent and some common
programmes, options for installing these features are checked by default.
Better uncheck all these extra features and you won't have to face such
problems.
Of course, you can always remove these features like toolbar from add/remove
programmes and change your homepage.
