I have changed the subject line for better understanding.
In Karnataka, Up to 2011 totally blinds were not eligible for perceiving
general B ED course. In 2010 I myself applied for the same and was not
allowed to write C E T since I am totally blind. I took written statement
from my exam centre with lot of difficulty and filed PIL in the Karnataka
high court with the help of NFB. In 2011 we got high court judgment in our
favor. Now our Karnataka VI friends should come forward and perceive
general B ED course then we can pressurize the government to hire them as
high school teachers.
with regard to primary school teachers, here in Karnataka we have two D ED
centers one each in Bangalore and Mysore respectively. Both are boaj
university affiliated. Unfortunately our education department is not
accepting this certificate during recruitment. You would be well aware
already our honorable high court has passed the judgment to hire visually
challenged as primary school teachers. Education department has gone up
and Now this matter is pending in the SC. Hoping to get judgment in our
favor..

Yes Manjunath I agree with you, only in recent few years back Visually
Impaired are appointed in few jobs, but still in Primary school & high
school teachers are not appointed and whoever are appointed in
government services in Karnataka please write about their condition
also.
