The pdf file for such statements are generally password secured and hence,
accessibility cannot be made by the software. as a result, the sight readers
can read the contents but the speech synthesizer cannot.
wor this, I just go online and read the statement. it is accessible.

dear all, i am facing problem with my credit card's e-statement. the
problem is, when i open the .PDF file the adobe reader ask for password. i
enter my 16 digit card number as thhis is the password for my card
statement. but after opening the same. it says "Alert: Protection Failure"
what could be the reason? and how should i overcome this issue? i have
also tried with fine reader 11. but it does not accepting the password.
