Hello, I don't often use kurzweil 1000, but when I first join my college,
purchase desktop computer, in that time I was just a beginner computer user.
Needless to say that now also I am not an advance user. some friends has
tell me that kurzweil can read the printed books. I search kurzweil and
begin using. In that time if I remember correctly I used to
increase/decrease image from the menu\settings\scanning setting. I was
using kurzweil 8. after some time, when I join Inclusive planet website, I
met lot of blind friends, I silently began following some of the member of
IP, from there I get the fact that openbook is also a scanning and reading
software and some time it works better then kurzweil. From there I started
using openbook and Till now I am still using openbook and finereader. cause
as above mention what I feel openbook was better then kurzweil 8. . even
I very much wanted to download the kurzweil 13, it might be far better then
openbook, but you know because of its bulky size and I am using vodefone 2g
internet, I was trying to hunt "what's new in kurzweil 13" documentation.
Then I'll finally download kurzweil.

Subject: Re: [AI] Need help in setting the scanner resolution manually

I am using HP scanner G4890 with kurzweil 13 and Fine reader 11
professional version. One more thing I tried to use LexCam scanner
with kurzweil, still it is giving 200 DPI as a default resolution
level and there is no option to set it manually.
