Dear List Members

On the occasion of Children's Day, Voice Vision invite's you for a first-aid
training session to be conducted by the LifeSupporters Institute of Health
Sciences, a recognized International training center of the American Heart
Association, organized for the visually impaired, in association with the
Education Department of National Association for the Blind - Mumbai. To be
held on November 16th, 2013 at Shishu Kalyan Mati Mand Bachon Ka School,
Andheri West, Mumbai, between 10:30 am to 4:30 pm.

The focus on empowerment and self-independence cannot be felt any further in
this world laden with dynamic changes. Keeping this in mind Voice Vision has
extended its platform to focus on First-Aider training for the visually
impaired kids.

"The First-Aiders: Helping Yourself & Others" training session for the
visually impaired will be in the form of a day-long workshop with an equal
mixture of theoretical explanations and practical demonstrations.

This one of a kind, first-aid training designed for the visually impaired
will give them an overview of what should or should not be done in various
situations through a hands on experience of preventing bleeding, applying
bandage, taking care of fractures and a lot more!

We cordially invite you to be a part of this enlightening session and
request you to and help in eradicating the common perception of "visually
impaired cannot be of help to the society by large, as they themselves
require assistance on different fronts especially self-safety."
