Dear Friends, hope all are well! I have recently updated adobe reader
version in my desktop. Whenever I am opening any pdf document, JAWS is
not reading it and showing this message.

“Note for users of assistive technology dialogue
Adobe reader has detected that you may be using assistive technology
on your computer
While using adobe reader with Protected mode enabled on Windows XP
operating system, some assistive technologies may not be able to read
some document content. If you do encounter problems, turning off
Protected mode may help. This can be done by choosing:
Edit>preferences>protected mode
And unchecking enable protected mode at startup.”

I tried to make the changes as abovementioned, but there is no such
option “protected mode “ in the Edit>preferences>.

Please suggest if there is any other way to solve the problem. I am
using Windows XP, JAWS 13, and pdf version is 11.0.04.63
