Today, the blind can effectively communicate on Facebook and Twitter. Not sure how? We'll teach you. Voice Vision, a Mumbai based organization working for the blind and visually impaired since 2000, is organizing a 'Social Media for the Blind' workshop on the third Sunday of December - Sunday 22, 2013 - between 10:00AM and 5:30PM at Malad West, Mumbai. Get trained on: Introduction to Facebook and Twitter Overview of usage and benefits Accessibility options Using Facebook: overview on how the blind and visually impaired can use Facebook Using Twitter: overview on how the blind and visually impaired can use Twitter Hands-on workshop and guidance o Setting up your account o Adding friends and following people o Reading content o Comments, retweets and communication o Posting to Facebook and Twitter Date: Sunday, 22nd December 2013.
