A friend came across this site that seems to host a lot of programming books as e-text. I looked at a couple of the books: they were pdf files hosted on google drive. The PDF was readable and doesn’t seem to be just scanned images. I don’t know of the legality of using these books. If you happen to use these, then please reply on the list with your experience.
