It's not actually working. The problem is that when I start using sound forge with jaws, after two or three keystrokes, the sound stops. If I remove the USB speaker, the sound comes alive again. If I reconnect the USB speaker and use sound forge again, the sound stops again.

When the USB speaker is plugged in, it automatically becomes default, i.e., it is showing up on the system tray and working perfectly. It works without any problem until I start any sound editing programme like gold wave or sound forge.

Hi
Under volume control, play back device, you should get a list box for all the soundcard devices in your system. You can make one as a preferred default device. I am sure the option should be available in Win7 as well. This is the place to look for.

Subject: [AI] problem of USB Speaker on Windows 7.

Hello,

When I plug in a uSB speaker or headset, I can't use both jaws or NVDA and soung forge at the same time. The USB speaker stops working. I have tried several options changing jaws and NVDA, but to no avail. There is no problem playing a sound file with winamp or media player. This problem never occurs in windows xp.

Please help.
