Tiles can be replaced too and without much trouble. They dont break easily only if you manage to drop a very heavy thing on them. You can also go for wooden tiles, they are comfortable and dont get cold or hot with weather. Marble can make your house look like a temple! Also Italian marble is in fashin these days, very expencive and very fragile gets scratches very easily. Hope this helps. I have wooden tiles in the office which was once my house. Now I too have ceramic tiles in one house. They both are doing good. Try to not use white tiles as they show dust very fast. Even the black show marks and dust very much. Go for some nice colors.
