Gold wave is one of the simplest and lightest sound editing software.
With JAWS scripts, it becomes very user friendly.
The very attractive feature of this program is it's key customisation
option.
This option allows us to asign keystrokes of our likings.
For example, left and right brackets are the default keys for start and
finish marking respectively.
What I prefer instead is the letter D and letter F.
This can be easily achieved through the keyboard option.
Now to the simple editing techniques.
You can start mark the position from you wish to start editing the file.
For example, if the file is structured from 1 to 10 and you wish to edit
from 5 to 8, Come with your cursor just before 5 and stop the file
pressing the space bar.
Press left bracket to start mark and go with your cursor just after 8 and
stop the file by space and finish mark it with right bracket.
Use the text editing keys to do the editing.
You can cut, copy, and delete the marked area.
You can also paste the marked area into another opened file.

editing the song
1. open the goldwave
2. select the file which need to be edited
3. press space to play the song
4. when song playing, try to observe the content of the song
when u find the request pece of the song, just press left brocket key,
and once the required content, gets ended, just press right brocket
key, now, just press ctrl c to copy the selected content and open the
new blank audio file by pressing ctrl n
u can see the list of options, just tab for ok, and then press enter
now the jaws should say untitled 1
just press ctrl v to paste the selected content from the previous file
once the process completes, just try to save the untitle file by
giving some name,
note: to save as mp3, u need to install the lame mp3 encouder

What I tried was:
I played the song and paused at a certain place. Then I went in

Is my method wrong? If yes, then what is the correct procedure?
