Shahi told TOI here on Wednesday he had written a letter to the VC of JNU, seeking opening of a branch of the university here. The VC has acknowledged the letter and stated the issue can be discussed further after getting the opinion of different wings of the university. The VC has also stated the branch can be opened only after getting approval of the Union HRD ministry. The minister said he has also written a letter to the Union HRD ministry for a JNU branch in Bihar. The proposal is being examined by the Centre, he said. -- God examine those whom loves he the most.
