Yes, you can certainly switch off your monitor display by performing the following: Press Windows + P on your keyboard to open the Projector Options list box. When JAWS announces that the list box has opened navigate only with the arrow keys until you land up on Projector Only. Enter on Projector Only. In most cases, your computer will not be connected to a projector so Windows will inform you that they could not detect a projector and will ask if you would like to keep those display settings. Tab once and you will land up on Keep Changes button where you have to press Enter. You are done.
