All lies Subhash. After today's TOI piece, i got a call from Additional Chief Electoral officer who assured they will do their best. They have also called me for a meeting. In the end of the conversation, the officer requested me to forward the copy of the SC 2007 order. This explains everything, how well they are prepared. Still, Delhi have shown interest at least. There has been no response to the reminder sent by CCPD to ECI on my complaint. There website is still inaccessible.
I highlighted the problems faced by electoral with disability last December just after the elections which media took up. Few posted here that they will take u the matter with ECI and asked interested fellows to contact offline. I volunteered also but there was no response. I am not aware if anybody from AI list has contacted ECI or not. It's high time we galvanise the momentum again since time is very less. don't know the updates -- Dr Satendra Singh, MD, FSS Assistant Professor of Physiology University College of Medical Sciences & GTB Hospital, Delhi, India-110095 Coordinator, Enabling Unit, EOC Founder, Infinite Ability Register at the dedicated AccessIndia list for discussing accessibility of mobile phones / Tabs on: http://mail.accessindia.org.in/mailman/listinfo/mobile.accessindia_accessindia.org.in Search for old postings at: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To unsubscribe send a message to [email protected] with the subject unsubscribe.
