Actually I was also facing the same issue with the combination of office
2003 and 2007. When I search in google, I found that the problem is because
of some registry entrys.
I also found a solution and it works for me at that time. Try this. Go to
run and copy the following command exactly.
reg add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Options /v NoReReg /t
REG_DWORD /d 1
If it does not work then try to search in google by pasting this command
line. I am sure you will find the solution.
