Last Sunday April 20th was a great day for Blind With Camera, a project of
the Beyond Sight Foundation Mumbai India. Bhavesh Patel (complete blind)
was shooting photographs of Indian actress Katrina Kaif for the LUX soap
campaign. Bhavesh is trained in photography under Blind With Camera since
2010.

This is for the first time in the world a commercial shoot is done be a
visually impaired photographer.

Bhavesh is being paid as per industry standard. He is treated with dignity
by the stakeholders Unilever India, JWT Mumbai and Firecracker
Entertainment Mumbai.
Bhavesh summarise his experience by saying "Visually Impaired Person (VIP)
has become a Very Important Person (VIP)".

The campaign brings out the fragrance and "inner beauty" of glamorous
lady as experienced by a visually impaired photographer. Once the campaign
is released Unilever, I will post the pictures of Katrina taken by Bhavesh
and the documentary film on shoot.
