Dear all, I am grateful for your valuable suggestion/contribution at the past. Very recently, one of a Malayalam speaker using my Malayalam_Varnamala (the typing tool) has suggested the following. 1. The Malayalam digits are not in use since long years and no one uses/knows them. 2. Hence; as in of my Varnamala, Malayalam digits located at the top row of the keyboard and the English digits at the Numpad keys is not practical. 3. The English digits must be assigned at the top row of the keyboard and also in the Numpad keys. 4. Therre is no need of Malayalam digits any more.
Please suggest me: *Are these points a ground reality? *Do you agree with these points? *Should the English digits be located at the top row? *should the Malayalam digits be completely removed or assigned in either way? By the way, In my Malayalam_Varnamala. use the corresponding consonant + f+backslash key for the chillu characters. Unfortunately, in old version, it was missed in Help file. I have revised the help file and a new version of Malayalam_Varnamala_222 is released. Download it from: https://www.dropbox.com/s/r6ek2g3mnoul15b/Setup_Malayalam_Varnamala_222.exe cheers!
