Dear Sandeep, Let me appreciate you for not only expressing your emotions on such incidents, but also for your zeal to take some kind of action, which hardly people bother to do. Even that writing of a short email can create a difference. At least the world will know that yes there are people with disability who understand and will stop us from using disability as a parental property in an undignified manner.
I would recommend you to at least draft and send a letter / email, and see if you can seek any response. And the email / letter should not only go to the persons concerned, but you should also write to Set-India Ltd (to my knowledge that is the holding company of Sony channels), and BCCI requesting them to ensure that these things are not repeated in future. Although legal battle is one of the option, but remember it is lengthy and teadious both. I don't know how much CCPD will be willing to take any action on such matters, as previous incidents like the BJP speeches show that CCPD has not been keen enough to take up these complaints. But if you decide to hold them legally accountable, then do write to me off-the-list. Regards, Amar Jain. -- Amar Jain.
