Yes, in fact the annoying issue with Firefox has been continuously haunting the screen-reader users almost from the release of version 19.0 or so. I am not sure whether the following prescription would work accurately enough, but it's worth experimenting with: 1. Generally when your screen-reader refuses to read the text and other visible elements in a browser, press ""Alt+D", and you'll be taken to the address-bar. In the case of internet explorer, press "shift+tab"once and you'll get back into the visible area. If it's fire fox, you may have to press the same "shift+tab" thrice. 2. While installing the Mozilla Firefox, we should ensure to allow the starting wizard to copy our Internet Explorer settings. This would make the Firefox to emulate the lay out of the IE to a large extent, making the navigation accessible.
