All such problems occure once in a while. You cannot compare college going students and central GOVT employees. I do think central GOVT / PSU employees get convayence allowance. further more, its not too hard to make such arrangements as car-pooling / hiring some auto rikshahs or private vehicles. I don't think its too hard for a central govt / PSU employee. Further more, when you ask for all possible leniency, then how can you expect treatment on par with other employees? in my opinion, asking for such circular / lenient consideration seems bad idea. Finally, where there is will, there is a way.
