there are no restrictions of any kind. approach the bank & ask them to open a basic savings account for you with all the facilities: chequebook, ATM & netbanking basis the thumb impression. thee should be no challenge of any kind in it all. in case the branch refuses to give you the account or any of the other facilities because of thumb impression, please go ahead & file a complaint against the bank on the below URL:
