The main feature that the k1k gives you over fineReader is the ability to scan and read at the same time. You do not have to scan first and then read.
You also get page layout information such as where on a page a picture is located. You have a document scanning optimization feature. This allows the program to determine the best settings to scan your document. Finally, there is forms recognition which allows you to scan a form and fill it out. No need for sighted assistance to fill paper forms. There are plenty of other features which you can read about by going to www.kurzweiledu.com Pranav -----Original Message----- From: AccessIndia [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of meharaj shaik Sent: Sunday, August 17, 2014 5:31 PM To: AccessIndia: a list for discussing accessibility and issues concerning the disabled.
