Blind / Visually challenged persons can open ordinary / cheque operated deposit a/c in sole name / jointly with other persons. A prominent remark indicating that depositor is blind / visually challenged be made on opening form and in the system. Obtain two recent photographs; paste one to a/c opening form and other to passbook duly attested by authorised official. STU
