Chungua an eatery in Delhi took the initiative of producing a menu card in
Braille. Radio Mirchi had organised some publicity. To my knowledge, they
hardly get clients who know Braille . They begin to wonder if it is worth
the while producing audio or Braille menu cards when they hardly have
clients who might need them.

My view is that the waiters should be sensitised and trained to handle
clients who are disabled and that should be enough for the moment instead
of compelling them to spend money on technology that gets used maybe once
in a blue moon. Accessible menu cards will be great when reasonable number
of blind patrons start eating out.
