The event is being hosted by ASSISTECH, an inter-disciplinary group of faculty, students and research staff engaged in developing devices and technology for mobility and education of visually impaired. We are arranging an exhibition of our activities named "Avlokan" on 30th Oct at 3:00 PM with the intent of spreading general awareness about the role of technology in addressing the challenges faced by the visually impaired. We have also invited Mr. George Abraham of Score Foundation ( http://scorefoundation.org.in/) to speak on the occasion. Venue is the lobby area of the School of Information technology building , IIT Delhi . You are also invited to come and see the chess match between IIT Delhi student chess team and four visually impaired players from the All India Chess Federation for the Blind in the forenoon of 30th Oct (9:00 AM to 1:00 PM) at Assistech Lab, School of IT building.
