Dear all,

Sometime earlier I had posted on this group the discriminatory circular of
Punjab National Bank. I had subsequently filed a case in the court of CCPD
and also sent written complaints to the Chairmen, Branch Manager and GM of
PNB.

They replied to the CCPD notice and have committed that they are not
discriminating against the VI and have also modified the declaration which
they are asking visually impaired customers to sign as a proof of having
read the terms and conditions.

Although not perfect, this is somewhat acceptable under the circumstances.
However, I plan to pursue this further to get the declaration completely
scrapped.

Thanks,

Prashant
