Students of Pragya Chakshu School, Mullatalai protested and went on a
hunger strike today against one of their teachers. They are demanding
her suspension.

A number of visually impaired students of Government School for Blinds came out
today in anger and held a hunger strike outside their school premises.
The students demand suspension of one of their Science teacher, Indu
Jain over her negligent behavior towards her duty and with students.



The students have decided to be on hunger strike till their demands
are fulfilled. Following that, they will divide into pairs of two and
will continue their protest, informed Devendra, one of the students.

"Upon getting information about the incident, a team of investigators
rushed to the scene and took statements of students as well as
teachers. A report will be prepared soon by them and will be sent to
the District Education officer after which a final decision will be
taken on the matter," said Devendra.
