On the Occasion of the International Disability Day (3 December
2014), JNU Visually Challenged Forum in Collaboration with Equal
Opportunity Office JNU Invites you to a Documentary screening "Accsex"
and panel discussion

About the Documentary: 52-minute documentary film "Accsex" directed by
Shweta Ghosh explores normative notions of beauty, body, sexuality and
ability through the narratives of four women who happen to be persons
with disabilities. The film has won accolades and praise at film
festivals across the world, including an Honourable Mention at the
IAWRT International Awards 2013, Casblanca, Morocco, 2nd Prize at the
WeCare Film Festival (on Disability Rights) 2014 and  "Accsex" has
also been awarded in 61st National Film Fare Award held at Vigyan
Bhawan in the May 2014.

About the Pannelists:

Shweta Ghosh an independent film-maker  and researcher is the Director
of the Documentary "Accsex".

Abha Ketarpal, one of the protagonists in the documentary "Accsex" is
a Disability Counselor for students with disabilities at University
College of Medical Sciences and Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi.
