Acceptance of all suggestions given by All India Disability Alliance on RPD Bill 2014; 3. Filling up of backlog of all vacancies in the Central and StateGovernments by adopting the said manner of computation of reservation aslaid down by the Hon’ble Apex court in the aforementioned judgments. 4. Declaration of result and appointment of successful 100% blind candidates against the group ‘D’ vacancies in Northern Railways pertainingto Advertisement of 2012 in the implementation of judgment dt. 19.8.14 ofHon’ble High Court of Delhi in the matter of G.M. Northern Railways & ors. Vs. Vinay Kumar & ors. This rally was supported by around 1,500 to 2,000 visually impaired people from U.P, M.P, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. It started from Jantarmantar andhad walked till Parliament Street. After a rigorous efforts and strugglethat Sh. S.K Rungta and other worriers of the federation (its valuablemembers from entire northern region of India), have managed to make their voice audible to the concerned ministries in power. At around 1 am on 3rdof December 2014, a delegation headed by Sh. S.K Rungta met Sh. Thawarchand Gehlot (hon’ble minster social justice and empowerment). The hon’bleminister had himself taken initiative to send a written recommendation to Department of Training and Personnel, to modify the Office Memorandum forgiving reservation in promotion to person with disabilities in all government offices. After certain tough efforts a delegation of the federation managed to meet the Railway Minister at 7 pm on 3rd December 2014. The hon’ble ministerafter listening to the entire issue had immediately issued orders to the Chief Manager Northern Railway Recruitment Cell, to submit a report as to why he had not applied the judgment of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi in the aforesaid matter in issue. He had also assured the delegation headedby Sh.
