Good write up,way to go. Will to learn Sir - Louis Braille's 206th birth anniversary and 163rd death anniversary were on January 4 and January 6 respectively. Braille was a French educator who invented the system of reading and writing for the visually impaired. This system is still known the world over as 'braille'.
Braille became blind in the aftermath of an accident at the age of three. However, he mastered his disability while he was still a boy, and excelled in education. He also received a scholarship. Inspired by military cryptography, Braille developed a system of tactile code that allowed blind persons to read and write quickly and efficiently. He served as a professor at the Royal Institute for Blind Youth but spent a large part of his adult life refining and extending his system. He believed that access to communication was the same as access to knowledge. Even 162 years after his death, Braille is remembered by people the world over, especially by those who can read and write because his great invention made it possible for them to do so.
